RAID Cycling is delighted to present The Battery with two cycling excursions in 2023 to evaluate members’ interest in travel-based cycling tours and a long-term collaboration. NOR CAL ALPS - THE BATTERY EDITION - JUNE 2023

This RAID takes us from our enchanting front door in Sonoma County to the outer reaches of Mendocino County. We venture out along raging rivers & rugged coasts, winding stretches of tarmac through dense redwood forests and along steep and winding sun-drenched ridge tops. This journey includes exquisite culinary adventures along with, of course, local wine pairings.

JAPAN: SOUTHERN ISLANDS - THE BATTERY EDITION - SEPT. 2023

This is the Japan you haven’t heard about, the one where one of the world’s longest cycle paths (complete with suspension bridges) reign supreme, where remote towns, volcanoes, simmering hot springs, traditional inns, and one of the World Heritage Sites peak from behind the neon curtain. This is simply one of the most intimate ways to uncover Japan’s rich culture, heritage, cuisine and traditions.
