LODGING

We select trip accommodations based on decades of experience and intimate familiarity with our destinations. We strive to make sure your lodging experience is one akin to being welcomed into a home away from home instead of a sterile hotel. Unless noted otherwise, all RAID departures include double-occupancy lodging for each night of the trip, from arrival to departure. Single-occupancy lodging is available for a small upcharge.

TRANSPORTATION

When possible, we will provide transfers from destination airport to departure airport, but in those locations where it’s easier for our guests to self-transfer, we will provide all of the options to consider when making your transportation plans. In the same vein as our lodging, any transfers during the trip are designed to be as comfortable and as rapid as possible, and are, of course, included.

SUPPORT

All trips include full SAG support, including mechanical and nutritional assistance. We offer a variety of nutritional/hydration products on rides including popular nutrition brands, as well as homemade snacks. We’re happy to assist with any dietary needs/restrictions you may have. If for whatever reason you cannot complete the day’s route, we’re happy to transport you to our destination in our SAG vehicle.

BICYCLES

Bicycles are not provided on RAID departures. Nevertheless, our skilled mechanics are delighted to assemble and fine-tune your bike upon arrival at the destination. Traveling with your bike in a standard bike case/bag is a dependable option, and shipping via FedEx/UPS is also available, except for international departures. If you prefer not to bring your bike, we are pleased to organize and coordinate a bike rental at the destination for the entirety of the trip.

DINING

The majority of meals are covered in RAID departures, strategically interspersed with individual dining opportunities offering a variety of options. While alcohol is not included in the trip pricing, a refreshing cold beer is always available at the end of each day!
